MISSION STATEMENT

Advance & develop the kingdom of God through spreading biblical truth to all nations.

VISION STATEMENT

Body of Christ being empowered by the Holy Spirit to represent the Kingdom of God by spiritually impacting lives in the name of Jesus Christ.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. * The Scriptures: We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is inerrant in the original writings. The Bible being the revealed Word of God is the ground and foundation from which all claims of truth shall be substantiated. The Word of God is alive and quick!
  2. * God: We believe that there is only one true and living God existing as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Within the Godhead are distinct roles, but all of one essence and all having the same nature, perfection and attributes, and each role is worthy of precisely the same worship, confidence, and obedience. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:15 – 19 – Godhead) (John 14: 7). For there are three that bare record in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one (1 John 5:7).
  3. * Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, the Son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, shed His blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again and ascended to the father according to the Scriptures. (Luke 1:26-33, 22:20, 24:46)
  4. * Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the Chief Agent in the regeneration of the soul, the Chief Convictor of sin, and the Chief Comforter of the believer. Simultaneous with regeneration, the Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into the body of Christ permanently indwells him and seals him in salvation for all eternity. The Holy Spirit is the giver of spiritual gifts to the believer. (John 16:1-13; Acts 5:3-4; Titus 3:5; Mathew 3:11; Ephesians 1:13-14; I Corinthians 12:1-11).

    What We Believe

  5. * Man: We believe that man is the direct creation of God- body, soul and spirit. Therefore, man is not in any way a result of evolution, but is made in God’s image. The sin and fall of Adam resulted in the fall of creation and mankind both physically, and spiritually. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:10; 5:12, 8:18-23).
  6. * Salvation: We believe that all who, in faith of the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and is considered born again by the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God. We are saved by grace through faith in the work of Jesus which is a gift from God (Eph 2: 8,9), therefore, we are justified through the propitiatory sacrifice of Jesus (Rom 3: 24, 25). Now we have a judicial declaration or adjudication from God that declares we are not guilty of the original sin of Adam in which his penalty of death was imputed to mankind (Rom 8: 1-4). By the death of Jesus and our faith in him, God imputes righteousness to us and thus we are new creatures. There is one lord, one faith, and one baptism. When one repents and receives Christ as savior through faith, he must be baptized in the name of the lord Jesus Christ just as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19 “baptizing in the “name” of the father, son, and holy ghost, which is Jesus Christ. This is the way the apostles baptized in the book of Acts as an example (Acts 2:38, Acts 19:5). Salvation involves being born of the water and spirit, redemption, regeneration, justification, sanctification and glorification. (Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 10:9-10; 5:7-11; Colossians 1:13-14, 21-22; John 17:16-22; II Corinthians 5:17; I Corinthians 6:19.

We believe that salvation is not only a gift from God but is sustained by him as well (1 Peter 1: 5), (Hebrews 12:2). Salvation is wholly of the Lord, apart from the works of man (Eph 2: 8, 9). The Holy Spirit permanently indwells the true believer and seals him in salvation for all eternity (Eph 1: 13), (1 John 3: 9), (Philippians 1: 6). Therefore, the believer shall be kept by the power of God through faith (1 Peter 1: 5). The gift of God is eternal life: (John 10:27-29, 14:16-17, 26; Jude 24-25; Romans 8:29-39; 1 John 5: 11, 12, 18).

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus Christ to all believers and is received subsequent to salvation. Believers are entitled to, and should expect and earnestly seek the promise. Evidence of the Baptism according to scripture is an uncompromising love for others, a boldness to witness the testimony of Jesus Christ and an earnest desire for Christian service as well as speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Matthew 3:11, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8, 2:4, 2:38-39, Acts 19:1-7,)
